The Microsoft Campus on Thames Valley Park is the UK Headquarters for Microsoft. The majority of our employees are based here, with functions including sales, marketing, support and consulting. We moved to this site in 1997 and in July 2002 we opened Building 4, with planning now in place for Buildings 5 and 6.

In 1997, Microsoft announced a £50 million investment to establish a research lab in Cambridge. The lab, known as Microsoft Research Ltd, collaborates closely with Cambridge University to conduct research in computer science and aims to create a home for world-class researchers based in Europe who want to develop innovative new technologies.
