Here at Microsoft our success depends on one thing more than any other. It’s not, as you might expect, the introduction of MS DOS in the 80s or MSN in the 90s. In fact, it’s not even particularly hi-tech.
The thing which lies behind our success is an idea, and a very simple one at that. This is the idea: you can’t have creative technology without creative people. Pretty obvious, really, isn’t it? And yet it’s the basis of nearly everything we do.
