Pitch Your Passion

Pitch You Passion is a new Microsoft initiative designed to fast-track self-motivated, passionate students through the early stages of the recruitment process for the Microsoft Student Placement Scheme. In order to participate, all you have to do is tell us via a seven-minute presentation why you’re passionate about working at Microsoft. You see, passion is the common ingredient which identifies all our people, and if you’ve got it, then whatever your particular skills are, we’ll find the perfect home for them. 

If you impress us, you’ll be able to skip the application form as well as the telephone interview which are otherwise obligatory and join the standard recruitment process at the assessment centre stage. And if you continue to impress us during the course of your Placement, we’ll make sure you’re also given the option of fast-tracking yourself onto the MACH Scheme once you graduate. After that, well the sky’s the limit. It all depends on how you want to express yourself.

Pitch Your Passion is open to all students at all UK universities. The presentations will take place at the following five campuses this December: Loughborough University - December 3, Aston University - December 4, University of Bath - December 5, Bournemouth University - December 6, Reading University - December 7. We hope we'll be meeting you soon.
