Typical Roles at Microsoft

Segment Marketing Manager

This is a pivotal role. The Segment Marketing Managers serve as the customer advocates for a given industry sector and provide an overall perspective on the segment. This includes identifying trouble spots, determining how Microsoft could solve these problems, and recommending the best methods for targeting the segment.

Product Solution Marketing Manager

Product Solution Marketing Managers work as the internal and external spokespeople for a particular product, its solutions and associated market issues.

The DPE team has highly-specialised sales, marketing and technical contributors responsible for the early adoption of the Microsoft Developer Platform.
