Microsoft in Partnership with The Karrot Bus

Karrot Bus

The Karrot Internet Bus aims to reward young people for regular school attendance and good citizenship. Through the Unlimited Potential programme MSN is supporting a high tech internet bus with 11 computers on board, to travel around London bringing safe internet facilities to youngsters who might not otherwise have access to the Internet.
Karrot Bus is a joint funded project between the MSN, the Metropolitan Police and the government. The bus brings IT to areas most in need. The service is free of charge to the public and the bus is equipped with well maintained and reliable technology and computers.

"Karrot encompasses a number of ways for young people to access information over the Internet thanks to MSN and engage in activities they might not otherwise have been able to. At the same time, the link with good behaviour increases awareness of their responsibilities and helps to tackle these feelings of exclusion.”
