Unlimited Potential

Microsoft Unlimited Potential

Launched in 2003 Unlimited Potential is a Microsoft global community investment programme. Unlimited Potential is focused on improving lifelong learning for disadvantaged young people and adults by providing access to IT training and skills.

Microsoft is committed to a long term investment of money, software and curriculum aimed to help tackle technology illiteracy globally. The development of IT skills will create social and economic opportunities that change lives, transform communities and strengthen local economies.
In the UK, Microsoft works with and through charity partnerships to deliver the Unlimited Potential programme. All of our UK partners share our passion for the contribution that IT and IT skills can make to disadvantaged individuals and groups and through their networks we are able to reach out to those in greatest need.

In May 2006, Microsoft received an award in recognition of its work in tackling the issue of digital exclusion among older people.  Presented by Her Majesty the Queen, the Living Legends Awards are organised by Help the Aged.  The awards aim to recognise achievements of organisations in making a real difference to the lives of older people.

Microsoft currently has Unlimited Potential partnerships with the following organisations in the UK:
