The training day pack for Effective ICT Pedagogies is based on the Microsoft Innovative Teachers Programme and the Partners in Learning Curriculum development materials in use in 101 countries internationally. Microsoft extends its thanks to the 'Learning Discovery Centre' for creation of these materials. The course aims to support people in taking the first steps in applying their own ICT skills to their teaching enabling them to create highly personalised activities suitable for their learners. Similarly this is a resource for teachers who themselves are confident and inspirational practitioners faced with the challenge of coaching and supporting those around them and doing the same.
Also included are 101 Ideas for Teachers which are templates for the creative and effective use of ICT in your teaching.
Through our 3 year partnership with the TDA, we have undertaken carefully selected projects with the goals of:

| • | Driving innovation with the use of ICT |
“Know IT All for Teachers and Know IT All for Trainees” are a set of valuable resources to address e-safety in schools developed through a joint initiative between children’s internet charity, Childnet International, the TDA, Becta and Microsoft. They provide practical help for teacher trainers, trainee teachers, existing teachers and support staff teaching at key stage 3 on the latest child e-safety issues, and offers suggestions and materials on how the subject of e-safety can be embedded in the curriculum both within schools and initial teacher training.
The Cross Curricular ICT project is another TDA collaboration working with Hampshire County Council. Five Hampshire based schools are working together to support the development of innovative uses of ICT in facilitating collaborative approaches to teaching and learning in secondary mathematics, design and technology, science and related subjects such as physical education.
