26th June 2008: UCISA Seminar - Desktop and Application Virtualisation

9th - 12th January 2008 - BETT 2008 - The World’s Largest Educational ICT Event
BETT 2008 took place at Olympia in London. Attracting 700 educational suppliers and close to 30000 visitors, it brought together the global teaching and learning community for four days of innovations and inspirations.
Microsoft showcased its products and services at BETT, the world's leading educational information and communications technology (ICT) event, with over 20 years dedicated to showcasing the best in UK and international educational technology products, resources and best practice.
This event is strongly supported by Microsoft as we continue to help individuals to realise their potential. Visitors were be able to see new products such as Windows Vista, Office 2007, SharePoint Learning Kit, and gain knowledge of how they support the personalisation of learning. With two stands this year, we provided the platform for many people to engage directly with us and see the benefits of the Microsoft Educational Experience and hear from current practitioners exactly how the solutions we provide are building better foundations for Schools, Colleges and Universities.
10 July 2007 - Schools Mobility Day
We held a "mobile" day at our campus on 10th July. Microsoft and external speakers, talked about their practical experiences in the use of all kinds of mobile devices - handhelds, phones, ultra-mobile PCs, Tablet PCs. The presentations are available for download.
