EngagingThe Microsoft IT Academy Programme supports education institutions in delivering ICT training and certification for students and teachers. Students gain early access to the latest technologies and hands-on experience. The programme offers opportunities for teachers to expand their ICT skills and capabilities. InspiringMicrosoft's Innovative Teachers Programme offers curriculum materials, skills training and Continuing Professional Development opportunities, which are designed to boost teacher creativity and confidence in the use of ICT across the curriculum. The programme is part of Microsoft’s continuing investment in education and its resources are available at no cost to educators – including student teachers, teachers and learning support staff. SharingThe Innovative Teachers Network is a free, online portal, with a secure space for teachers to share their experiences and the best of their practice. It also offers a library of curriculum resources to support the skills development of teachers and aid the embedding of technology in teaching and learning. The Network offers materials to cater for every level of digital literacy from beginners to staff-developers. |
