Once you have created a route with AutoRoute and attached your GPS device, you can use the Driving Guidance and Full Screen Navigation features to see and hear the driving instructions-including street names-while you travel:
Create a route and check to see that your GPS device is receiving a signal.
In the GPS task pane, click the Start/stop GPS tracking tick box and check Provide Navigation.
Read the safety warning and, to continue using Driving Guidance, click I Agree.
The Driving Guidance pane opens below the map with the first instruction displaying. Use the buttons to the left of the map to create a GPS trail and to see a dynamic turn view. AutoRoute automatically re-routes your trip if you make a wrong turn.
On the Standard toolbar, choose Full screen navigation view (or press F11). The full screen map pane opens in a new window. Use the buttons at the top of the navigation window to repeat instructions, turn off spoken instructions, re-route or switch to night map view.
