Q. How do I exchange a damaged book?

A. If your Microsoft Press book has missing, illegible, or improperly sequenced pages, you can exchange it.

If you haven't opened any CD-ROM or disk pack that came with the book, please exchange the book for a new copy at the place where you bought it.

If you've already opened the CD-ROM or disk pack, please contact your local Microsoft Press distributor.

Q. How do I get an answer to a question I have about a book's content?

A. Please search the Microsoft Knowledge Base before you submit your questions or comments. To help you with any questions you may have about content, Microsoft Press provides support information, including a search facility for known errors or corrections, at the Microsoft Learning Support site.

For content that isn't covered by the Microsoft Learning Support website, please send your comments and questions to the relevant member of our Microsoft Press technical support team. Q. How do I replace a broken or lost CD-ROM?

A. If your CD-ROM is clearly defective (cracked, badly warped or contains a deep scratch) or is missing, please contact your local Microsoft Press distributor for a replacement CD-ROM.

Important: replacing your CD-ROM will not solve any software-related issues. You should only replace your CD-ROM if your Setup program fails and if we haven't posted any book or CD corrections.

Unfortunately, we cannot replace CD-ROMs via the web for legal reasons. However, we do post individual file patches on the Internet when appropriate.

Q. How do I resolve a problem I have with the evaluation software included with my book?

A. If your question is about a Microsoft software product or an evaluation copy of Microsoft software rather than about the content of a Microsoft Press book, please search the Microsoft Knowledge Base.

If your problem is about the content of a Microsoft Press book, please refer to our product support services website, selecting England on the worldwide site pull-down menu.
