Caution If you want to go back to the earlier version of Entourage after you install Entourage 2008, Web Services Edition, you have to remove the complete Office 2008 application.

Quit any applications that are running, including all Office applications, Microsoft Messenger, and Office Notifications, because they might interfere with installation.
Make sure that your computer meets the minimum system requirements.
Click Download, or click the link for the language version that you want.
Follow the instructions on the screen to save the file to your hard disk. If you are using Safari, the downloaded file is saved to the desktop unless you specified a different location in the Preferences dialog box of Safari. To check your preferences, on the Safari menu, click Preferences, and then click General.
Double-click the file that you downloaded in step 5 to put the Entourage 2008, Web Services Edition Update on your desktop, and then double-click the Entourage 2008, Web Services Edition Update to open it. This step might have been performed for you.
In the Entourage 2008, Web Services Edition Update window, follow the instructions on the screen to start the installation process.
Note You cannot run Entourage 2008 for Mac and Entourage 2008 for Mac, Web Services Edition, on the same computer. Also, during the installation process, your Entourage 2008 identity is not imported or upgraded automatically for use with Entourage 2008, Web Services Edition. You must import from the existing identity. When you first launch the new version of Entourage, you will have the option to import your existing Entourage 2008 identity. To remove this update
Quit all applications before you run Remove Office. Also, you must have administrative credentials on the computer to remove Office.
Open/username/Applications/Microsoft Office 2008/Additional Tools/Remove Office/, and then double-click Remove Office.
Follow the instructions to remove Office.
On the Finder menu, click Empty Trash.
If you want to reinstall an earlier version of Office 2008 for Mac, you have to reinstall the complete Office 2008 suite from the Office 2008 for Mac disk. You will also have to import your Entourage 2008 identity from the archived Entourage 2008 database. You cannot use your Entourage 2008, Web Services Edition identity with the earlier version of Office 2008 for Mac.

Note To verify that your computer meets these minimum requirements, on the Apple menu, click About This Mac.
Microsoft Exchange Server: Connectivity to Update Rollup 4 for Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 Service Pack 1 (KB952580) or later version.
You can download this update for free from the Microsoft Web site.
Note Update Rollup 4 for Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 Service Pack 1 (KB952580) must be applied to both the Mailbox server and the Client Access server roles.
Microsoft Office 2008 for Mac 12.2.3 Update: You can download this update for free from the Microsoft Web site.
Note To verify that you have installed this update, you can open any Microsoft Office 2008 application to check the version number. For example, open Word, and then on the Word menu, click About Word. In the dialog box, compare the version number next to Latest Installed Update.

Depending on the file format you choose to download, make sure StuffIt Expander version 6 or later and Apple Disk Copy version 10.1 or later are installed on your computer. By default, Mac OS X includes the correct versions of these programs.
To install this download:
On your hard disk, double-click RDC103EN.dmg to expand it using StuffIt Expander. Depending on the Web browser that you are currently using, this step might be performed for you automatically.
Double-click the RDC103EN.dmg file you downloaded to mount the Remote Desktop Connection volume.
On the Desktop, open the Remote Desktop Connection volume.
Copy the Remote Desktop Connection folder from the Remote Desktop Connection volume to your hard disk.
If the Remote Desktop Connection folder was copied to your hard disk successfully, you can move the Remote Desktop Connection volume, the .dmg file, and the original file you downloaded (if present) to the Trash.
To complete the installation, run the program by opening the Remote Desktop Connection folder that you copied to your hard disk, and then double-click Remote Desktop Connection.

To remove Remote Desktop Connection Client for Mac, move the Remote Desktop Connection folder to the Trash, and then on the Finder menu, click Empty Trash.
To use Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection Client 1.0.3 for Mac, your Macintosh computer must meet the following minimum requirements:
Processor: Macintosh PowerPC.
Operating system: Mac OS X version 10.2.8 or later
Memory: 128 MB of RAM.
Hard disk: 3 MB of available hard disk space temporarily required to complete installation; after installation, 1.1 MB of hard disk space.
Note: The hard disk should be in Mac OS Extended (HFS+) format, the default format for Mac. Microsoft does not currently support running Remote Desktop Connection from a hard disk that is in another format. To determine the format of your hard disk, on the Apple menu, click About this Mac, and then click More Info.
Network: Connection to a local area network, either directly or via a modem capable of 28.8 Kbps or higher.
Internet access: Internet connection through either an Internet service provider (ISP) or a network. Internet access might require a fee to an ISP; local or long-distance telephone charges might also apply.
Tip: If you're not sure whether your computer meets these requirements, you can display information about your computer by using the Apple System Profiler program included with Mac OS X. To start the program, on the Apple menu, click About This Mac, and then click More Info.

Note Two different file types are available for this download, MacBinary (.bin) or BinHex (.hqx) A .bin file is typically smaller than an .hqx file, but is less compatible with earlier Macintosh systems, such as Mac OS 7.0, 8.0 , and 8.5. An .hqx file is typically larger, but is more compatible with earlier systems.
