I cannot configure my Exchange account in Entourage

Cause: The Account Setup Assistant fails to retrieve account settings because it incorrectly attempts to use the Kerberos authentication protocol.

Solution: Set up the Microsoft Exchange Server account manually by using an authentication method other than the Kerberos protocol.

Cause: The Verify My Settings option fails, and the Setup Assistant shows an error in the LDAP field.

Solution: Clear the LDAP field and then manually configure LDAP settings.

Cause: An issue occurred while the Account Setup Assistant was configuring the Exchange account.

Solution: Verify the network settings.
Solution: Verify connectivity between the Exchange server and the client computer by pinging the Exchange server.
Solution: Set up the Microsoft Exchange account manually.
