About Black Marble
Black Marble is a highly skilled, deeply technical software development and IT consultancy company that thrives on solving difficult problems, ensuring our customers benefit from the innovative solutions we produce.
Since Black Marble was established in 1997, we have run many successful rescue projects – turning around projects that are failing to deliver to budget or schedule. We do this through a combination of Project Management and improving quality in development, testing, delivery and User Experience – in short, managing the Application Lifecycle. We bring our experience in delivering quality systems to our customer’s businesses, pulling projects back on target time and time again.
Black Marble has invested time, effort and money into establishing a quality system within the company based around Visual Studio Team Foundation Server, for delivering high quality applications. We run a strict regime of quality and test not only for our customers but for our own internal projects. This is run by our Engineering Team, led by Richard Fennell, and includes rigorous continuous integration, nightly builds and load testing.
Black Marble is a Corporate member of the BCS, and we have a Fellow of the BCS, as well as four Certified IT Professionals (CITP) of the BCS, and fourteen further Members of the BCS (MBCS).
