Geoff Hughes Platform Strategy Advisor geoffhu@microsoft.com Geoff is responsible for driving the adoption of .NET in the Public Sector by demonstrating the business value that .NET and web services technology can deliver to Public Sector customers and partners alike. Throughout his varied career at Microsoft Geoff has held numerous new business development roles, helping him to satisfy his interest and passion for new technologies. Geoff started his IT career at ICL in 1985 managing distributed email systems, moving to Apricot Computers in 1987 to sell PC systems into the public sSector - latterly joining Microsoft Ltd. in 1990 as a founder member of the Network Business Unit tasked with selling Microsoft's networking products. Geoff is married with two children and lives in Berkshire.
