Business Intelligence in Healthcare

We are constantly being asked by Health customers how we can help them make sense of the information they hold.  Often this data is in a myriad of IT systems and on differing technologies.  Our solution in this space is very straight forward and builds on tow key technologies:

SQL Server: provides data warehousing, integration services (for migrating and tranforming data), analysis services (provides OLAP cubes) and Reporting services for schedules and adhoc reporting.

Office System:   Excel 2007 links directly to a SQL analysis server cube providing end user access to information is a secure, managed way into Office.   Microsoft Office Sharepoint Server (MOSS) can host a number of Key Performance Indicators,  server based excel spreadsheets and scorecards through Business Scorecard Manager (BSM) and the forthecoming Performance Point Server.
