Microsoft UK's Director of Health, John Coulthard said of the award category, "Healthcare ICT is all about people not technology and the Champion of the Year award is a great way of acknowledging those that are leaders in this field. As the NHS seeks to transform health services to meet the needs of citizens and patients, leaders are in even greater demand. I hope that people will be inspired by the nominees and hope in some way to emulate the winners."
Last year's winner was Dr Mike Bainbridge from Connecting for Health who scooped the award for his championing of ICT since the 1980s and work on the CUI programme. Who will it be this year?
