Software Asset Management using Microsoft Asset Inventory Service

The IM&T Tools Project, part of the NHS CUI Programme, is creating guidance on Software Asset Management using Microsoft Asset Inventory Service (AIS).
AIS is a component of the Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack (MDOP) for Software Assurance (SA), which is part of the Enterprise Agreement between Microsoft and the NHS.
We have a vacancy for one more “Specific Audience”, an NHS Entity to validate the guidance on deploying the client inventory software and using the Web-based service for viewing inventories.
If you have a requirement to gather and maintain a comprehensive view of the software installed on client computers and would like the opportunity to test/pilot the NHS CUI guidance with the assistance of a technical consultant from Microsoft, then please get in touch.
We would particularly like to hear from a Primary Care Trust (PCT) or Health Informatics Service (HIS) that wants to collect software asset information from General Practitioner (GP) workstations.
