Programme Announcement

This conference aims to celebrate all that is good
in nursing older people and highlight successes in
developing practice. It will focus on the partnership
working in which nurses are engaged with older
people, their representative organisations, retired
persons' organisations and other members of the multi
partnership team.
Organised by the Royal College of Nursing
Forums for Mental Health and Older People and
Nurses Working with Older People

The RCN Mental Health and Older People and Nurses Working
with Older People forums are grateful to Better Government for
Older People and National Pensioners Convention for working
with us on this conference programme.

Speakers include:

   * Dr Win Todd, Senior Research Fellow, Department of Geriatric
Medicine, Cardiff
   * Professor Jane Andrews, Director, The Demntia Services
Development Centre, University of Stirling
   * Michele Lee, Project Manager, UK Inquiry into Mental Health &
Well-Being in Later Life.
   * Innovation and Vulnerability:  Where Nurses lead, others follow
- Nadia Chambers, Southampton University Hospitals Trust

We also have apposite concurrent sessions to support the above plenary
sessions:  The themes for this event are:
