Relationship Management: Helping to Deliver on the Public Health Agenda

When: 03/03/2009 - 09:30 till 13:00

Where: Manchester Business Park

What:

IMGROUP would like to invite you to join them for another in their series of NHS briefings.

"Nationally, the NHS in the 21st century faces different challenges, which I would summarise as: rising expectations; demand driven by demographics; the continuing development of our 'information society'; advances in treatments; the changing nature of disease; and changing expectations of the health workplace."
Extract from High Quality Care for All, Professor the Lord Darzi of Denham, June 2008

We believe that managing ongoing relationships with patients and NHS stakeholders is vital to meeting the challenges that Lord Darzi articulates. It is also seen as a pre-requisite for world-class commissioning. From discussions we've had with a number of PCTs, it appears that there are few successful initiatives that have established a comprehensive communication approach for stakeholders, such as community and interest groups.

In the briefing, we will cover the following:-

  • The vision for Stakeholder Relationship Management: understand how PCTs can manage all forms of communication with their stakeholders, from planning and executing detailed consultations to managing press and Freedom of Information requests. Hear about initiatives that PCTs are already working on in this arena.
  • Demonstration: see how Microsoft Dynamics CRM can be used to manage all communications between the PCT and its stakeholders, including event management, sophisticated email campaigns and automated workflows.

The briefing will be followed by a roundtable discussion covering the issues around consistent, comprehensive communication programmes with both patients and stakeholders.
