London - UK - 5th April 2002 - This summer's biggest blockbuster - Spider-Man - is coming exclusively to MSN.co.uk, the UK's most popular web site1. And the deal clinched with entertainment giant Columbia TriStar Films (UK) sees MSN running its biggest promotion ever for a single client. Over a three month period starting April 5th 2002, the online push is predicted to reel in over 200 million page impressions throughout the period.
Part of the biggest marketing effort for a Columbia TriStar Films movie this year, MSNs promotional package for the Spider-Man film (http://www.msn.co.uk/specials/spiderman/) includes:

The film itself, directed by Sam Raimi and starring Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst, and Willem Dafoe, will be released in cinemas throughout the UK on June 14th 2002 (and in the US on May 3rd 2002). The official film web site is live at www.spiderman-themovie.co.uk.
