Latest Edition of Microsoft Money Helps Consumers Tackle Credit Challenges and Make Smarter Money Moves

Reading, UK – 20th October 2003 - Microsoft today unveils Microsoft® Money Financial Suite 2004, which includes TaxSaver 2003® Deluxe and Money 2004 and provides you with a quick and easy way to manage your personal finances. The powerful, easy to use tools let you balance your accounts, manage credit and debt, keep track of your investments and plan for the future.

Credit Centre
With rising debt and historically low interest rates, consumers are seeking more credit information and guidance. Money 2004 makes it easy for consumers to gain control of their overall situation with a wealth of credit and debt related tools.

Money 2004 features a brand new Credit Centre, where you can review a summary of debt accounts, learn about credit management, try what-if scenarios and take control of your credit status.

"Staying on top of your personal finances is increasingly important, particularly as household debt climbs and the number of refinancing loans hits a record high," said Belinda Sinclair, Microsoft Software Product Marketing Manager. "Money 2004 informs you about your credit standing and arms you with the knowledge and tools to improve your financial situation and help you make smarter financial decisions."

Timely Information Keeps Users Informed
Whether you are at home or on the move, you can keep your portfolio up to date by synchronising your investment data with MSN Money, Microsoft's personal finance Web site, which provides convenient access to the latest world-class financial news, information about financial events and a wealth of other tools and services.

A Taxing Issue
Money Financial Suite 2004 includes Tax Saver Deluxe 2003, which enables you to calculate your tax liability or refund and file your tax return either in print or online direct to the Inland Revenue. It also includes 70 tax-saving tips.

The deadline for sending tax returns back to the Inland Revue by the Internet is 30th December 2003. The deadline for sending Tax Returns over the Internet if you want the Inland Revenue to calculate your tax liability for you has now passed (September 30th 2003).
