ACCU

The ACCU is a non-profit organisation devoted to professionalism in programming at all levels. Although primarily focussed on C and C++, they also have interests in Java, C#, Python and the wider development process.

Developer Fusion

An online community for UK developers, with hundreds of pages of VB, ASP, .NET, and C++ tutorials and source code, Q&A discussion forums, blogs and book reviews.

Digital South Yorkshire

Promoting Growth: Supporting Success Digital South Yorkshire (d-SY) is the network and specialist support organisation for creative and digital businesses in the South Yorkshire region. d-SY has been set up to act as a champion for the Creative and Digital Industries (CDI) cluster in South Yorkshire and to help drive economic growth in the cluster.

FoxUK

FoxUK maintains discussion groups on its website where FoxPro users can share expert help, support and tips, and take part in friendly discussions. The group holds two national seminars each year in Reading and regular, more informal meetings, at local venues. Members receive regular newsletters and discounted professional developer publications are available.

Harrogate Digital Forum

Harrogate Digital Forum is a young and vibrant digital cluster supporting digital industry in the Harrogate District. All members have digital technology at the core of their business, over 50 per cent are involved in internet and web based businesses or software, and over 50 per cent are sole traders. Members enjoy networking with each other and access to a central knowledge base through the website. Additionally they have the opportunity to join others to bid for larger contracts they could not handle on their own.

London .NET

London .NET user group was established to provide access to the latest and best information for developers working with Microsoft’s .NET technologies and provide a community for those developers to exchange information and ideas. Regular meetings with expert speakers who dig, ‘under the hood’, allow members to keep both in touch and informed.

MoDaCo

MoDaCo is the world’s largest Microsoft Smartphone community, supporting all users including mobile device developers, with discussion forums, news, help and advice and more. Now supporting all Windows powered mobile devices too.

Scottish Developers

Scottish Developers is a community of software professionals from a range of organisations and backgrounds with a diverse range of interests and skills. The group acts as a point of contact for members to discuss issues, technology and upcoming events.

The Access User Group

The Access User Group is a forum for the exchange and presentation of ideas and experiences with the Microsoft Access product and related technologies. These include single and multi-user Access applications, upsizing Access applications to SQL Server, developing web sites based around Access databases, and the use of Access with .NET, as well as complementary tools such as XML, VB, ASP and many o provide more. The group covers the needs of all levels of users from corporate strategy to individual developers.

The Developers Group

The Developers Group is an association of professional developers using Delphi, C# form and other .NET development tools. The aim is to provide members with essential information and training, while promoting the exchange of ideas, knowledge and work between members.

The London Database Developers Forum

The London Database Developers Forum provides a platform for the discussion of Microsoft database development tools for all developers who are using Microsoft’s products to build database applications. Meetings are organised by Aztec Computing and are supported by the Access User Group, VBUG and the UK SQL Server User Group. It’s a great opportunity to network with developers and to learn how others are using Microsoft’s products.

The Scottish Small Business Server User Group (SSBSG)

The Scottish Small Business Server User Group is a unique and valuable new resource for our independent Microsoft Small Business Server Consultants in Scotland. Our meetings (7pm on the last Thursday of every month at the Microsoft offices in Edinburgh) feature guest industry speakers, advice, assistance, education and the opportunity for small business IT consultants to collaborate and network. Check our online space where members can chat, share files, and learn more about the group. Membership is free.

The Thames Valley User group .NET

The Thames Valley User Group .NET is focused on educating and promoting Microsoft .NET and related technologies to .NET professionals, developers and business decision makers. Our goal is to share experiences and provide the infrastructure for an exchange of knowledge amongst members.

UK SQL Server Community

The UK SQL Server Community offers membership, events, comprehensive FAQs, Forums, SQL Blogging and many more features. It also has access to most of the worlds leading SQL Server and Database professionals. The group is one of the biggest user groups currently active in the UK, standing at over 8,050 members in the UK and over 35,000 across the world. Established in June 2000.

UK Exchange Server Professionals (UKESP)

UKESP provides virtual and physical forums for information and support to Microsoft Exchange Server Professionals in the UK. We aim to be the leading resource in the UK for impartial information on resources, personnel, solutions, and best practices for Exchange Server and other related Microsoft products. The group is an online community dedicated to Microsoft Exchange Server with ‘real-world’ meetings and seminars and is free to join.

VBUG

Today, VBUG is trusted by thousands of people nationwide to provide information an resources for developers and development teams. Since 1994, we’ve been dedicated to this task, offering a comprehensive membership package including well attended regional and national events. VBUG includes groups of both VB .NET and C# developers.
