Welcome to the Microsoft IT Professional Technical Roadshow for 2007. This year we are using our virtualisation technology to bring you extensive live demonstrations in each of the sessions and we will conclude with demonstrations of how the individual products, along with other server products come together in common scenarios. There will be opportunities to talk to the presenters and other Microsoft staff, technical and non-technical, to get your questions answered.
The Microsoft Roadshow is generally two days of technical content; one day aimed at developers (MSDN) and the other day aimed at IT Professionals (TechNet). You can attend both days if you like.
To see the full TechNet agenda, please scroll down the page. Then click on the date or location to book your place or the venue to get directions.

We will discuss Sysprep, ImageX and Windows PE and will also cover deployment services, group policy and security | James O’Neill James O'Neill has been using Microsoft products since 1979 but it wasn’t until 2000 that he decided to join Microsoft. He has been a Microsoft certified professional since 1993, holding MCSE from NT 3.1 to Windows 2003. He became an IT Pro evangelist in March 2006 and before that spent six years working for Microsoft Consulting Services on a variety of projects for several well known, large organisations. She joined Microsoft in 2001 as a Datacenter Systems Engineeer working in the Enterprise and Partner group, moving to her true love, Exchange as soon as possible. Her life hasn’t always been in IT though. Eileen left school spent 10 years working for Shell Tankers as a Navigating officer on Very Large Crude oil Carriers (VLCC’s), and when she came ashore for good, she managed a shipping fleet as a container ship planner on the round the world service. Here, she developed a vessel scheduling system to move the company from their paper and pencil method to Lotus 123 version 2 and the start of automated ship schedules. She also found time to take an Open University BSc in Geology, and become a Systems Engineer in NT 3.51, NT 4.0 and Windows 2000. In her spare time, Eileen makes jam and chutney in awesome quantities, races around the Suffolk countryside in her Cobra replica kit car and when she encounters warmer waters, she scuba dives as much as possible to get away from the phone. |
