Speaker's biography

James O'Neill - IT Pro Evangelist, http://blogs.technet.com/jamesone

James has been using Microsoft products since 1979, but it wasn’t until 2000 that he decided to join Microsoft. Most of his career has concentrated on gaining first-hand experience of operating systems and messaging technologies, and he spent five years running a consulting and training company where he shared his knowledge with individuals and companies alike. He has been a Microsoft Certified Professional since 1993, holding MCSE from NT 3.1 to Windows 2003. He became an IT Pro evangelist in March 2006 and before that spent six years working for Microsoft Consulting Services on a variety of projects for several well known, large organisations.

Outside of work his free time is divided between his two small children and photography. He irritates people with a vast knowledge of trivia and by writing about himself in the third person.
