Create a Safer Gaming Environment

If you are a parent, then you might worry about the appropriateness of the computer games your children play. Windows Vista gives you tools that enable you to shape your children's gaming experiences and help them to avoid inappropriate content. It's simple to choose the level of protection that's right for your family.

Enable or restrict game access

Now you can take a more active role in ensuring your children's safety when they use computers at home. With Windows Vista, you can easily limit access according to what you consider appropriate. A detailed set of Parental Controls gives you the flexibility to allow or restrict games by content, title, or game ratings set by independent institutions. (Windows Vista supports all of the major international game ratings boards that are currently active.) When your children log on to the computer, they can play only games that conform to the ratings and restrictions that you set.
