Experience Backup and Security for Small Business: Restoring Files
Easily backing up your data is only part of the story - you also need easy retrieval of your data. With the Windows Vista Restore Wizard, you can easily step through the restoration process when you need to retrieve a backup of a lost or damaged file. Using the Restore Wizard, you choose only what you want to restore – whether it's an individual file, photos, or even your entire system and its related settings.

If you accidentally lose or damage a file, you can recover it easily using the Restore Wizard.
Back up your entire computer
To protect your entire computer in the case of a catastrophic failure, Windows Vista offers a feature called System Image that records a snapshot of all the information in your PC. While your PC may not be able to be fixed in a timely manner, you can retrieve all your data and quickly get up and running again on a new PC that is running Windows Vista. Using System Image will provide you with a backup copy of your entire system that can be retrieved through a one-step recovery process after you connect it to your new PC.

System Image can restore your computer quickly.
Automatically save earlier versions of files
Windows Vista even helps you recover earlier versions of the files you work on. At one time or another, almost everyone has made changes to a file, saved it and then wanted to undo the changes, only to find out that it was too late. Windows Vista Business offers a new feature - Volume Shadow Copy - that provides the ability to go back to an earlier version of your file. Volume Shadow Copy automatically creates copies of your files as you work on them, storing them for future recovery if you decide you want to go back to an earlier version of the file – even if you haven't yet backed up your files. If you (or someone else) make a number of changes to a file, save the file and then decide that you don't like the changes, you can easily retrieve the earlier version. Volume Shadow Copy can save you significant time re-creating documents.

Retrieve previous versions of a file at any time.
Windows Vista not only provides an easy solution for data backup, it also provides easy access to that data should you need to retrieve it. You're in control of your data, which is the way it should be.
