“When we first began looking for a suitable digital camera for New Zealand we quickly discovered that Microsoft’s UltraCam Group offered the best all round solution for us. We purchased the UltraCamL, which has now been upgraded to the UCLp, providing us with a very reliable, efficient and cost effective system. The implementation went smoothly and we were operational quickly. The impressive aspect of the UCLp has been the reliability of the system thanks to its integrated systems and solid state hard drives. Image quality is superior throughout and geometric accuracies have been consistently good. Microsoft has also been very supportive from the beginning making our shift from film to digital an easy transition. As a company, we value this relationship and look forward to it continuing into the future.”

“We fly aerial imagery and Lidar and we operate six aircrafts in North America as well as providing geospatial services. Last march, we bought four (4) UltraCam Xp and Lp cameras. We adapted our own Uninav navigation software and had a very strong support of all the Vexcel Imaging team, to help us to integrate this new technology in a very short period of time at the beginning of our flying season. We are very satisfied as those cameras allows us to capture very precise and professional aerial imagery. All our customers really appreciate the image quality and sharpness of this aerial product. Yes, we fly Ultracam now and we are planning our future with Ultracam.”

"Greetings from Toronto! After finishing our two recent installations of your UltraCamXp and UltraCamL with the NovAtel SPAN-SE, I wanted to summarize some of the aspects and results we all achieved."
"The projects flown in Peachtree City GA were done with the UCXp and a SPAN-SE using an LN200 IMU. From the boresight that I processed I have to say that the geometric accuracy of your UltraCam is phenomenal. The automatic tie-point matching succeeded with an average RMS of 1.9 microns, a value I have not yet experienced with any other camera. Consequently, the boresight achieved great accuracy as well and confirmed the SPAN-SE’s performance of better than 0.005deg for roll/pitch and better than 0.008deg for heading."
"The installation and flights went smoothly. Again the SPAN-SE easily integrates with your UCL and the TrackAir FMS providing reliable data practically without any operator intervention. I am presently working on the boresight and again see a phenomenal geometric accuracy on the UCL."
