UltraCam Award-winning Photogrammetric Systems.

Overview

UltraMap Visualization.UltraMap consists of a flexible and scalable distributed system for managing and processing vast amounts of UltraCam data, integrating UltraCam-specific hardware such as the data units, and the docking station to support field and office environments. UltraMap Radiometry and UltraMap AT exploit the DragonFly core technology in order to provide fast visualization and easy interaction with large image blocks.

UltraMap 2.3 supports the UltraCam Eagle and features new improvements and updates to the Framework v2, the Raw Data Center, AT v2 (Aerial Triangulation), the Radiometry and the Viewer. Enhancements include improved tie point collection algorithm, updated interactive visualization, integrated Level-0 raw file recovery (UltraCam Eagle only), and improved reporting of quality issues during processing. View all new updates here.

UltraMap provides a complete and integrated photogrammetric workflow for UltraCam images. The aerial triangulation module is smoothly integrated into the UltraMap workflow, monolithic stitching significantly improves the geometric image accuracy for unstructured terrain, and model-based radiometric correction allows for eliminating hotspots, atmospheric effects, and haze. The automated project-based color balancing package tremendously minimizes manual labor for adjusting the radiometry. These are just a few examples of how UltraMap supports your business.

UltraMap Features

  • Distributed task processing with automated load balancing
  • Sequential and interleaved job execution mode with extended distribution options based on execution order and priority combined with a fully integrated cluster management
  • Interactive visualization of full-resolution UltraCam images combined with a meta-data-based filtering for versatile image selection and grouping
  • Integrated photogrammetric workflow including aerial triangulation
  • Fast, automated and verified download from data units
  • Monolithic Stitching provides monolithic CCD geometric accuracy for unstructured image content such as desert areas
  • Monolithic Radiometry provides consistent radiometry for high dynamic image content such as glacier areas
  • Model-based radiometric correction for hotspots, atmospheric effects, and haze
  • Highly automated project-based color balancing
  • Improved workflow-driven point measurement combined with an improved tie pointing strategy for better and more robust image linkage
  • Integrated archive of finished jobs (history)

UltraMap fully supports all UltraCam models such as UltraCamX, UltraCamXp and UltraCamXp Wide Angle, UltraCamL, UltraCamLp and UltraCam Eagle. Camera calibration parameters are handled automatically. Visualization and the complete AT workflow support multi-camera projects flown with different UltraCam sensors and/or different altitudes.
