FedEx Improves Customer Experience with Integrated Mapping and Location Data

In 2007, FedEx, a leading shipping and printing services corporation, wanted to develop a more innovative online store locator to improve customer experience. Its existing application delivered static maps of routes to its locations but not information such as location type, available services, or business hours. FedEx chose Microsoft Virtual Earth mapping technology to provide custom information.
