What I wanted to say was if you purchase a Windows only system - it will cost much less (for the same power) or be more powerful (for the same amount of money).

I had to purchase a Mac for my job - and I have discovered that as nice as some of Mac's features are it still does not hold a candle to Windows.  Every update to the OS (10.4 o 10.5 for example) is a full OS upgrade where Windows simply puts these updates in free service pacts.  I also find it interesting that Microsoft puts out tools and updates for everyone to use and find on their website where most tools and updates for Mac OS are only available for Certified Mac repair places.  The more I learn about Macs the happier I am with Windows - Keep up the great work Microsoft.  Oh as an aside Mac and its partners make create tools that allow you run Windows along side of and Within Mac OS (like Parallels) - these tools rock - and they have to - the only way you can truly use the overpriced Mac is to install Windows on it and use Windows software.  But like I tell my friends if you have to run Windows anyway buy a Windows only system - it will more powerful and co
