This is pathetic. ZERO improvement, well not even cleaning up the mess created in 2007. Absolutely nothing for a developer. Guess will have to wait for ver 2015 or hopefully by that time Google will come up with something that has functionality for professionals.
Microsoft, doesn't seem to be paying any attention to programmers.
Very disappointed.

Is Microsoft getting ready to pull Access in the next version of Office?  There seems to be no committment to this product and there has been minimal development for a long, long time now.  I wonder if we should expect Microsoft SQL Express Office in the next release.

If this is all that's new in ACCESS 2010, then I will have to wait until the next version.  Hopefully by then, you will bring ACCESS back to the developer.

You can tell there was a corporate directive to integrate with Sharepoint when the team should be focused on ensuring customer comments are addressed and updates don't make matters worse.  I don't know if the team is under-staffed or the testing and development areas are too far apart, but I developed in PowerBuilder years ago and still can't believe where this product is today.

ms access 2010 improves only a bit. millions around the world still waiting for it to compile ade/mde to EXE.
adp to ms sql 2008 still needs to be addressed. only a few improvement on security, shift key remains a problem.
Should I need to wait for 15 more years to make it happen? Too bad.

What a disappointment.  The Sharepoint integration is fictional if you need a true relational database and decent performance. Been there, done that.  I have the scares to prove it,

Nice video, too bad it does not deliver what it advertises. The title is "What's new in MS Access 2010". The only thing I heard was new integration with Sharepoint. The rest is all features available since 97. I hope that is not all that is new.
