is 2010 going to allow you to change default calendars? Doesn't make sense to handcuff you to only one calendar forever

I'm excited about quick steps! Nice move!  But I don't like the ribbon. Isn't everyone on the planet already using office?  Why make it hard to use for all us old-timers just to try to entice a few new folks?  How about an "Office Classic" UI option!!!!!

Outlook 2007 wasn't the prettiest app from the Office pack. And to my disappointment, it doesn't change that with 2010. A lot of nested elements destroy, thick borders/outlines (for example: below the ribbon) give it a cluttered look and feel from the last decade. Outlook Features + Windows Live Mail Look would have been awesome, but maybe not from a business-man's perspective who is used to the current L&F.

I've installed Office 2010 and have tried to use Outlook 2010. I am really disappointed! There are so many bugs that I can't believe that it's a beta version. I find it difficult to restrain myself from saying something rude about it! The layout is something else again! Cluttered, untidy and illogical! I have nothing positive to say about it I'm afraid!

Outlook lacks a simple ability that is a deal breaker for me.
I am dependent on a todo list that has all the functions of a calendar program. I do not use appointments.
What i want is a day screen that lists todos/tasks and can devote, say, three lines to a task if necessary.
The screen should have only a this month/next month calendar (that can toggle on and off), a line for each todo (expanding to three--240 character--if necessary)), and priority numbers (there should be at least 99). Each todo should have the ability to have a note attached.
Suprisingly, of all the calendar/todo programs available there is only one that does this. All others reduce todos to  a small, separate list. The one program is the very expensive "Office Accelerator." There was a good program that did all this, OnTime, but it no longer exists.I have experience with this sort of program.
