Liquid Computing and Microsoft Virtualization

Liquid Computing is a Hyper-V launch partner with Microsoft, a Microsoft Certified Partner and a member of the Microsoft Partner Solutions Center (MSPC). LiquidIQ has successfully passed Windows Logo certification testing.

A LiquidIQ system is installed at the Microsoft Partners Solutions Center. Microsoft customers and MPSC partners can trial and demonstrate dynamic data center scenarios involving Windows Server, Hyper-V, and Microsoft System Center. Liquid Computing supports Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, and Hyper-V, and delivers unique capabilities within Microsoft System Center managed environments.

Liquid Computing + Microsoft Solution

Rapid Provisioning for Application Hosting Providers

A hosting provider can rapidly stand up infrastructure to host a new customer in 2 days versus 45 days with incumbent components. The hosting provider can assemble a set of commonly used templates that can include traditional Window installations, VM templates using Hyper-V, and all of the Microsoft Dynamics applications.

Business Continuity for Hosting Providers and Enterprises

Customers can preserve their investment in Microsoft software due to the unique design of LiquidIQ and the integration with NetApp. Business continuity is built into LiquidIQ due to its diskless design and can be verified on a daily or weekly basis to prove that the business is protected.

Optimized Hyper-V for Hosting Providers and Enterprises

LiquidIQ allows Hyper-V to support more VMs per host. The I/O characteristics of the underlying server and network can be dynamically changed based on the load being measured on the Windows Server 2008 Hyper-V server. This eliminates disruptions to service levels and application performance degradations.
