It installs fine. No problems at all. However, as soon as you try to upgrade drupal core to 7.9 or install module update, problems start popping up like mushrooms.

Drupal itself is good, but for the love of god don't install this on a server that already has PHP running. You will destroy your server configuration leading to massive headaches.

Easiest way to get Drupal running quickly on Windows, though not the best for deployment, since you can't update via CVS,
