DotNetNuke 7 has some great additions, enhancements, new features and improvements. I looked at a number of other CMS solutions but this was hands down the best for me.

If you are creating a home page for your new born kitten or want to add a poll to your starcraft fan site, this could be just the platform for you. Avoid it like the plague as a web application platform, it has a creaking and complex in all the wrong ways architecture that should have stayed in 2001. Lord only knows how it was made testable for v5. Neither is it a dedicated CMS - the content mangement module is pretty anemic. It is a portal system, a way of aggregating components in a web page. In short; it's a bag of rusty spanners, just run away.
