Incentive

Incentive is a social business software for enterprises. The wiki feature of Incentive is particularly strong with the possibility to host an unlimited number of wikis across your organization, with WYSIWYG-editing and single point of administration. Apart from handling wikis, Incentive gives you and your co-workers instant communication within teams, projects and departments. Most organizations suffer from internal e-mail flooding and information overload in general; this is a challenge Incentive address.

Having reviewed *many* Wiki systems including ScrewTurn and RoadKill Wiki, we've settled on the excellent Incentive system. It feels far more polished and professional than many of the free and open source systems and the support from Incentive is nothing short of excellent and my new feature suggestions were included in an official release within a few days! In particular we wanted to use it to document our software development work and best practices so the source code syntax highlighting (in all major languages) proved to be a killer feature for us. We also intend to use Incentive to document all of our business processes as we work towards gaining our ISO 9001 certification, saving us a fortune on buying our ISO company's own software (they were happy for us to use Incentive having been given a demo).

After trying several Wiki apps, including Media Wiki I think we've finally found the Wiki app for us. We love the fact that Incentive runs on iis and MS SQL and we we're enjoying abilities we haven't had in the past such as true WYSIWYG table editing and the ability to paste web article directly into the Wiki. If you've been searching for a good corporate Wiki you should give this one a try.

I´ve tried a few social collaboration apps, and many of them are good. Still, Incentive is the most impressive one so far! Easy to setup and easy to use. It´s not free, but in this case it is worth it! The free options can´t be compared to Incentive. And... it´s free to try, so download, install, and evaluate. For us it is the ultimate tool to share knowledge and information within our company!

Great App. Our company has implemented Incentive for a short period of time now but we think it's great. it's easy to use, easy to maintain and easy to implement. (with knowledge of SQLserver/ASP.NET) Since it's easy and fun to use which really helps acceptance among your users. Granted, there are other App's which do the same job, like Screwturn wiki (not under development anymore), but they just aren't as mature as Incentive is. For it's price it's probably 'best bang for your buck' On alano999's comment. Yes, i agree it's not free if you wish to implement this in your company. But you can install and try it for free. you can setup the entire implementation without any limitations and thus not having to spend any money before you start actually using the product.
