Note that installing this bundle on a system with SQL 2008 non-R2 will 1) fail to find the local SQL 2008 engine (you'll need to 'point to it' by explicitly naming it), and 2)install R2 versions of SS management layer. This will initially break a SQL 2008 non-R2 instance of SSMS (but the Joomla install will be successful and the engine is apparently fine). Successfully resolved the SSMS issue by upgrading SQL Server to R2. 5 stars for the slick integrated installer but points off for the breakage.

Omg Im so frustrated, Ok lets talk. Im asking myselft why, you removed Joomla 1.5 from this wonderful web app? everything was perfect till now. I understand perfectly that Joomla 1.6 is already out, but we all know that there no much support for joomla 1.6 yet. therefore people worldwide is still using Joomla 1.5. By ei: all extensions I have, does not work on joomla 1.6, So dont make sense to me to install just joomla 1.6, if i cannot install all my extensions. Regards

Um, guys while I appreciate you getting Joomla 1.6 available so quickly, I have to ask...why did you take down version 1.5 from the Web Platform Installer?? Most of the existing Joomla sites out there won't even begin upgrading to 1.6 for 6-8 months. There's very few extensions that are ready for 1.6. Even though it's technically out of beta, there's still a long way to go with real-world testing. But all those reasons aside...I need to setup a testing instance for a few of my exiting 1.5 sites today, and it seems I can't because 1.5 is no longer available in the Web Platform Installer! Joomla's great, but I'm gonna have to rate this 1 star in order to get someones attention on this. Please give access to Joomla 1.5 again!
