This is a real gem. I did use many of the alternative ASP.NET CMS packages, but they don't come close to it in many regards. MonoX Social Networking features really shine. The support is absolutely amazing - and I'm talking about their free support, I received answers to all of my questions in a few hours. New features are added very quickly, we were talking about some enhancements to the discussion Web parts and it appears that they implemented much more than users asked for in a matter of weeks. It does not come cheap if you need the full source code and priority support, but again it is much cheaper than all serious competitors.

This seemed like a really great app, until I hit a few small bugs. Unfortunately this software is not open source so making any bug fixes or changes means spending $3000 for the source code. There are also some IE only features. :( I hope they think about making this open source and letting the community help improve and upgrade this software.

I would have rated this tool a 5, but for the minor issues I pointed out below. This is a great .Net CMS (beats most out there). If you are looking for a great CMS, this should get you going. The folder structure in the download is somewhat confusing and the over reliance on webparts based on older .Net framework means you will not get many of the files to open in a truely wysiwyg mode in VS 2010, but the app runs as expected. The sample or demo site included means you hit the ground running with a beautiful and well rounded CMS. The demo site is a truely and fully functional site that includes everything and can be deployed as is. You can even integrate YAF easily, to the CMS. A few items missing though includs lack of commenting module for News articles, (the blog module has one). The documentation is obviously based on an older version of the app. Over all, this is truely a great CMS for anyone who wants to hit the ground running, with minimal changes and I highly recomend it. But according to a post on the Support Forum a New Version is coming out SOON. yousaid
