Great CMS which focuses on usability for content editors

Just to clear up some confusion regarding the nested URLs feature - this was released in version 2.4 back in May. I was responsible for implementing the majority of the feature. Since this was a very complex community contributed feature, it did take a rather long time for it to make its way into a stable release, but it is definitely here, and works out of the box with WebPI. As for the actual CMS, I've found SilverStripe and the underlying Sapphire framework to both powerful and flexible, with a usable UI that makes it easy to develop and use both simple websites and complex custom web applications.

I would love to give this app a 5 star rating but lack of support for nested urls, a feature they have promised since 2007 and yet to have delivered is a deal breaker for me. It's url rewriting is also not compatible with IIS 5.1 and the only fix is to buy a third party app. If you must use Silverstripe I would suggest you install using wampp or xampp instead of webpi, you will have less problems. In the meantime I am going to go with either umbraco, kenticocms, or wordpress.
