This page is a quick visual guide to the Reports Workspace in the WebMatrix user interface.
WebMatrix Reports Workspace Help
The Reports workspace lets you run site analysis reports and review any errors found by WebMatrix. This helps you optimize your website for search engines, improve the performance of your site, and more. To access this workspace, click Reports in the workspace selector of WebMatrix.

| UI | Description |
| New | Creates a new report, letting you customize the name and options before the report runs. |
| Re-run | Creates a new report based on an existing report. |
| Delete | Removes an existing report. |
| Export | Saves the results of an existing report to a comma-delimited text file. |
| Performance | Filters to show only performance-related violations and the load time for all the site's pages. |
| SEO | Filters to show only search engine optimization (SEO) violations. |
| All | Displays all violations. |
| URL | Groups the violations in the view by the page (URL) where they were found. |
| Issue Type | Groups the violations in the view by the name of the issue. |
Reports Tasks
| Task | Action |
| Create and run a new report | Click New in the ribbon. In the New Report dialog box, enter a name and the URL to start analysis from, and then click OK. By default, the report is for the entire site. |
| Analyze a live site | Click New in the ribbon. In the New Report dialog box, enter a named and the URL of the site to analyze, and then click OK. |
| Create a new report based on an existing report. | Select an existing report in the navigation pane and click Re-Run in the ribbon. |
| Delete a report | Select a report in the navigation pane and click Delete in the ribbon. |
| View all issues in a report | Select a report in the navigation pane and click All in the ribbon. |
| View only SEO issues in a report | Select a report in the navigation pane and click SEO in the ribbon. |
| Filter to show only errors | Double-click a report in the navigation pane. At the top of the content pane, drag the slider to Errors only. |
| Group the list of issues by page (URL) | Run a report and click URL in the ribbon. |
| Group the list of issues by the issue name | Run a report and click Issue Type in the ribbon. |
| Search for issues by text | Double-click a report in the navigation pane. At the top of the content pane, enter a term or part of a URL and click Filter. |
| View details of an issue | Double-click a report in the navigation pane and click an issue in the content pane. A panel shows details related to the violation. |
| View complete details of an issue | Double-click a report in the navigation pane and click an issue in the content pane. In the details box, click View More Details. |
