To install this driver, follow these steps:
1. | Create a blank formatted 3.5"/1.44MB diskette. |
2. | Download the Unimodem V driver zip package available on Modem Support for Windows 95. |
3. | Extract the files in the zip package and save them to the blank formatted diskette you created in Step 1. |
4. | Run Control Panel. |
5. | Double-click the Add New Hardware icon. At the prompt "Do you want Windows to Search for new hardware?" click No. |
6. | Click the hardware type for the driver you are installing. |
7. | Click the Have Disk button. |
8. | Enter the location of the driver file. |
9. | Follow the instructions on your screen. |
To upgrade an existing driver with this driver, follow these steps:
1. | Create a blank formatted 3.5"/1.44MB diskette. |
2. | Download the Unimodem V driver zip package available on Modem Support for Windows 95. |
3. | Extract the files in the zip package and save them to the blank formatted diskette you created in Step 1. |
4. | Use the right mouse button to click My Computer, then click properties on the menu that appears. |
5. | Click the Device Manager tab, then double-click the device type and the device you want to upgrade. |
6. | Click the Driver tab, then click the change Driver button. |
7. | Click the Have Disk button. |
8. | Enter the location of the driver file. |
9. | Follow the instructions on your screen. |
Note: For display monitors, please use the second set of procedures only (i.e. steps for upgrading an existing driver).
