This paper provides design guidance to developers of fingerprint management applications (FMAs) that are compatible with the Windows Biometric Framework (WBF) on Windows 7 systems.
This paper is for anyone who is developing an FMA or implementing sensor-independent enrollment experiences. This paper is also for fingerprint sensor vendors who ship bundled software to run on Windows 7 and for hardware vendors who can benefit from a better understanding of how FMA developers would interact with their sensors.
