Q: I ordered the kit, and have not received it after 4 weeks.

A: This normally means that there is a problem with the address or the payment. The main cause is insufficient payment, having invalid numbers for a credit card, or having payment rejected for various bank reasons.

To resolve this, send e-mail to Wintools@one.microsoft.upgrade.com. Customers in North America only can also inquire about the status of their order by calling toll-free at 1-800-615-8148. (This number is for inquiring about order status only. Orders cannot be placed at this number.)

When inquiring about an order, please make sure you can provide the following information:

Company name, contact name, and company address

E-mail and phone/fax information

Date the kit was ordered

Method of billing: Mastercard, Visa, American Express, etc.

Clear description of the problem and expected solution

Note that the distribution center for the kit is outsourced and not located on Microsoft campus, so the normal Microsoft operators or customer service groups will not be able to transfer you to this group.

Q: I ordered the kit, and the distribution center hasn't heard of my order.

A: This is a very uncommon problem.

Please also send relevant details to Wintools@one.microsoft.upgrade.com, so that the distributor can attempt to identify any problems with the ordering system, so this will not happen again.

Q: I ordered the kit, and you forgot to send me the receipt, which I need for tax purposes.

A: The receipt for the kit is attached to a sleeve on the outside of the kit's padded mailer.

Q: Why doesn't the IFS Kit get included with MSDN Universal?

A: There are a variety of reasons why the IFS Kit is not included with MSDN. The license agreement for the kit is different than the normal MSDN license for one. Though we are considering it for future releases.

Q: Are there any discounts on the kit's price, such as a student discount or a discount for also purchasing some other Microsoft product

A: Sorry, there is a single price for the kit, no discounts.
