How to Get the WDK and the WLK
For these versions of Windows:
Windows Server 2008 Family (x86, x64, Itanium)
Windows Vista Family (x86, x64, Itanium)
Windows XP Families (including Service Packs and 64-bit editions)
Windows 2000 Family
Use this Windows Driver Kit: Windows Server 2008 WDK (includes KMDF and UMDF)

How to enroll in the WDK and WLK program on Microsoft Connect and download the kits
Go to the Microsoft Connect Web site and follow these steps for beta and release versions:
Click Available Connections in the left navigation bar.
Sign in to the Web site using a Windows Live ID or Microsoft Passport account.
Note: If you do not have a Windows Live ID or Microsoft Passport account, click the Sign Up Now button in the New to Microsoft Connect? dialog box and follow the steps to create credentials.
In List of Connections, scroll to Microsoft Windows Driver Kit (WDK) and Windows Logo Kit (WLK).
If you do not see this entry in the programs list, then you are already enrolled in the program. Follow the next procedure to download the latest versions.
Click Apply.
Fill in the required information on the Registration page, and then click Register.
On the left under Connect Home, click Downloads.
How to download the latest WDK or WLK if you are already enrolled in the program
Go to the Microsoft Connect Web site and follow these steps:
On the left under Connect Home, click My Participation
On the Sign In page, enter your ID for Microsoft Connect.
On the My Participation page, click the Connection titled Windows Logo Kit (WLK), Windows Driver Kit (WDK) and Windows Driver Framework (WDF).
On the left under Connect Home, click Downloads.
How to submit bugs for the WLK Beta
Go to the Microsoft Connect Web site and follow these steps:
On the left under Connect Home, click My Participation
On the Sign In page, enter your ID for Microsoft Connect.
On the My Participation page, click the Connection titled Windows Logo Kit (WLK), Windows Driver Kit (WDK) and Windows Driver Framework (WDF).
On the left under Connect Home, click Feedback.
On the Feedback page, click the submit feedback button.
Under Bug Forms, select Bug
In the Title of the bug, please begin with WLKBETA:
Complete each of the available fields with as much detail as possible.
At the bottom of the page, click Submit to submit the Beta bug.
