On/Off Transition Performance Analyzer

The xbootmgr.exe tool is used to collect information during the on/off transition phases of Windows Vista. Data can be captured during boot, shutdown, standby and resume, and hibernate and resume. This paper provides guidelines to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) for using the xbootmgr tool. xbootmgr.exe ships as part of the Windows Performance Tools (WPT) Kit.
