Latest Changes to Test Topics in the DTM Help Documentation
The Windows Server 2008 System Testing collection of topics has been rewritten and two new topics have been added to this collection. They are: Running LoadGen in Non-logo Testing Mode and Troubleshooting the Server Stress Test.

The test instructions for the Server Cluster Test were also rewritten to conform with changes made to the instructions for the Windows Server 2008 System Test. These changes were made to help partners better understand the complex setup and testing processes involved with these tests.
Availability of the DTM Help Documentation

The latest documentation update for the Driver Test Manager (DTM) is now available from the Microsoft Connect Web site. This documentation can be found under Windows Driver Kit (WDK), Windows Logo Kit (WLK) and Windows Driver Framework (WDF). We will post monthly updates on the Microsoft Connect Web site on the first Monday of every month.
Omission of the March 2008 Documentation Update

The scheduled upload of the DTM documentation for the month of March was canceled due to a lack of any significant changes to the topics in the documentation.

DEVFUND-0014 is Mandatory for All Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 Device Submissions
Currently all device submissions are required to meet Device Fundamental requirement - DEVFUND-0014. This requirement has been in effect from June 1st 2006, and until Nov 2007 a grace period of 60 days was allowed to partners after making an x86 submission. This requirement mandates that all submissions for Windows Vista and later operating systems will also support x64 platform of that OS. This is being enforced at the Hardware ID level (please see requirement for details) and any non compliant submission will be failed with no further notice. Any submission that is made and which does not meet this requirement will be disqualified. The disqualified product will not be allowed to ship with the Logo nor will the product be listed in the Windows Catalog and the Hardware Compatibility List.

For further details please refer to the requirement on LogoPoint (accessible through winqual account) as well as the Logo Program FAQ (http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/winlogo/VistaLogofaq.mspx).
