In his keynote presentation, Bill Gates reflected on key inflection points for the hardware industry over the last 20 years and how the introduction of 64-bit and multicore computing will create new inflection points, launching a wave of industry innovation that will open new usage scenarios to positively impact our customers. Mr. Gates also provided a view into the foundation that is being laid for the next release of Windows, providing the best platform on which partners can innovate and a more reliable, secure environment where customers can be more productive and explore their passions.
