Windows Logo Kit - QFE Updates
The Windows Logo Kit (WLK) contains everything needed to certify devices for Windows: Driver Test Manager (DTM), the required tests, and the documentation needed to set up DTM and execute the tests. With the exception of WLK 1.2 QFEs, all Windows Logo Kits and their QFE Packages are now being maintained on Microsoft Connect. Please follow the download instructions shown below.
QFE Installation Notes:
| • | After you install a QFE you cannot resume a logo test run that was in progress. You will need to create a new logo test run. |
| • | Log files from a QFE install can be found under the \Windows directory. |

Download Instructions
Returning Windows Logo Program Connect Users
1. | Go to Microsoft Connect. |
2. | Enter your logon credentials. |
3. | Click on Downloads from the left Navigation bar to proceed to the Downloads page. |
4. | Click on the desired QFE package you wish to download. |
5. | Click on the Download location nearest to you. |
6. | Make sure that all the Files are selected in the Files in Download section. |
7. | Click on the Download button to start the download. |
New Windows Logo Program Connect Users
1. | Go to the Microsoft Connect home page. |
2. | Click the Sign In button. |
3. | If you do not have a Windows Live ID, click the Sign Up Now button in the Need a Windows Live ID box, and then follow the steps to create your credentials. |
4. | After signing in, select Connection Directory. |
5. | On the left-side menu, select Windows. |
6. | Find the Microsoft Windows Logo Kit connection area and select Apply. |
7. | Click on Downloads from the left Navigation bar. |
8. | Click on the desired QFE package you wish to download. |
9. | Click on the Download location nearest to you. |
10. | Make sure that all the Files are selected in the Files in Download section. |
11. | Click on the Download button to start the download. |
