XPSRenderer
XPSRenderer 1.0 is a multi-platform SDK dynamic library for rendering and printing XPS documents. It supports Windows, Mac OS X as well as most major flavors of Unix operating system.
XPSRenderer is a small footprint library written in C/C++ native code giving the highest level of performance on each platform. The library produces high quality renderings with anti aliasing and bilinear image transformations. Alpha blending, complex color gradients and all XPS embedded images formats such as PNG, JPEG, TIFF are also supported.

IPS XPS
Zoran's IPS XPS software is a complete XPS interpreter solution for printer and multifunction peripheral (MFP) manufacturers. The IPS XPS interpreter offers full compatibility with the XML Paper Specification (XPS), supports all XPS image formats –including JPEG, PNG, TIFF and HDPhoto – and provides extensible PrintTicket and XML namespace support.
For embedded controllers, the IPS XPS interpreter enables an XPS Document container to be sent directly to the printer or MFP without application interaction. This native printing of XPS allows users to save time and resources by printing XPS documents without first having to open those documents, and then having to send those documents through a print driver. The IPS XPS interpreter can be combined with Zoran's other IPS PDL interpreters – IPS PS3, IPS PDF, IPS FIVE and IPS XLC, for complete print functionality with minimal ROM and RAM overhead.
For Windows rendering support, the IPS XPS interpreter can be delivered as an IHV-configurable Windows Dynamically Linked Library (DLL) or as a filter to be used in an XPSDrv pipeline. These can be used by OEMs to implement XPS-to-raster or XPS-to-PDL rendering services that are not provided by Microsoft in Windows Vista.
Both the embedded and the host implementations of the IPS XPS interpreter offer superior performance, while requiring only minimal system resources. Using the same XPS interpreter implementation for both printer drivers and in embedded controllers ensures fidelity of XPS printing across an IHV's product line. Whether using the IPS XPS interpreter in embedded or host environments, developers benefit from having full source code access and full technical support to accelerate their product development.
